Meet Our Pastor
Pastor E. W. Whitmire was born and raised just outside of Cleveland, Texas. Both he and his wife Elaine Enloe/Whitmire have roots that go deep in the Piney Woods of East Texas. They both come from large families that are closely linked together. It is from these family ties that their love for families and desire to make a difference in the lives of others has come.
After evangelizing for several years, he was elected as pastor of this church where he has served for over twenty years. When he came to us, the church was located in Calvert, Texas.
Since then, he has led us to the purchase of our current 10 acres of property in Hearne and accomplished two phases of construction in the building of our new sanctuary, classrooms and fellowship complex.
Rev. Whitmire has served in an official capacity as the North American Missions Director of the Texas District for several years. He has been used on a national level in the training and teaching of new directors for other districts as well. He is a regular contributor to the Texas District magazine, the Apostolic Sentinel. Both he and his wife serve on the district Ministerial Advancement Program for the district as well.
He has been a regular contributor to the Texas District magazine, the Apostolic Sentinel. Both he and his wife have served and continue to serve on various District and Sectional Committees.
Though involved in leadership for the district, his greatest burden by far is for our area of Central Texas and the Robertson County area in particular. Under his leadership, we now have a Daughter Work in Franklin, Texas that has led to the purchase of property and buildings and the reaching of many for the kingdom of God. His vision is the planting of new church works in all of Robertson County’s towns. His focus is on changing one life at a time and reaching one family at a time. Bringing growth and cultivating a spirit of revival at The Pentecostals is his greatest desire.
