Latter Day Out Pouring
The Bible begins with a blunt, in your face, incontrovertible statement of fact. It leaves no room for discussion, argument or controversy. It is the basis for all of Christianity and all of Judaism as well. It simply says, “In the Beginning… GOD!”
As a minister grounded in the Word of God and lover of His truths, let me make a similar bold and undeniable statement of truth. We are living in the Last Days!
There are many signs that argue the soon return of Jesus Christ and His soon coming judgment upon a world gone wild. From exploding volcano’s, signs in the heaven’s, wars and rumors of wars, cries of ”peace, peace”, pestilence, disease, starvation, human brutality, lies and perversions, this world on a fast slide into the pit. Judgment is coming soon.
I don’t want you to think that I say “Jesus is coming soon”, as a message of gloom and despair. What I say is actually a message of hope and rejoicing! The Word of God declares powerfully and emphatically, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh:” (Acts 2:17) The enemy of our souls wants us to believe that we in America are disqualified from a “Last Day” outpouring of His Spirit because we are too carnal. But that is just another lie from the devil. While it IS true that America is fleshly, and sadly, too many of our church people are fleshly as well. That promise from God of a latter day outpouring of the Spirit is “upon ALL flesh”. And the good news is, We Are Flesh! So, because this is the last days, Believe it! Ask for it! And Jesus said, “Ye shall receive it!” That IS some good news!
